33 GRANDS CRUS. 3 DAYS.
BOURGOGNE SIGNATURE BY YOURI LEBAULT

A journey twenty years in the making...

Acclaimed guide and author Youri Lebault has just come up with a royal itinerary by bringing together the two wonders of Burgundy, its haute cuisine and its 33 classified grands crus.

A first in wine tourism, we have crafted an exceptional three-day trip, a true wine tasting marathon encompassing all of the Burgundy Grands Crus, including Grands-Echezeaux, Richebourg, Corton-Charlemagne, Chevalier-Montrachet and Chablis Grand Cru. Thirty-three Grands Crus classed at the pinnacle of the Burgundy appellation pyramid, which, given their rarity, are almost never tasted together.

The exclusive «33 Grands Crus» trip will only be organised once a year, and solely upon request. The prestigious wines will all be from small batches, with some tasted in wine estate cellars and others at the tables of Burgundy’s Michelin starred chefs. The starred chefs of French gastronomy such as, Loiseau in Saulieu, Billoux, Frachot in Dijon, Levernois in Beaune, have risen to the challenge : a new chapter marks the experience of French taste, or as Youri Lebault describes it, the magic of true authenticity. This dialogue between exceptional fine wines and haute cuisine promises to be a first.

What’s New in Burgundy?

“[W]e have encountered no finer service than Youri Lebault and Bourgogne Gold Tour. Unlike many drivers who simply shuttle you from here to there, Youri is certified by the Université de Bourgogne in Wine Culture and Tourism, and his specialty is geography and terroir. [...] He has unparalleled access to the wineries and tasting rooms of the region, and is able to set up customized tours featuring wine from the most sought after chateaus and domains.”

An exceptional event! A tasting of 33 Burgundy grands crus.

“Perhaps all that is required to unravel the mysteries of Burgundy is simply to organise a unique tasting bringing together these 33 exceptional wines. This is the rather crazy gamble taken by the wine tourism agency Bourgogne Gold Tour with its 33 Grands Crus Wine Experience. Founder Youri Lebault has spent a year meeting the owners of the various domaines whose bottles are marketed in tiny quantities.”
